I am a fourth-year Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Alabama on track to graduate in May of 2024. I successfully defended my dissertation proposal on September 29, 2023, and my final defense will occur in the Spring of 2024. Broadly, my research examines how accounting information impacts capital market participants, particularly in areas of importance to regulators and standard setters.

Prior to joining the Accounting Ph.D. program, I worked in assurance for Ernst & Young for three years in their New Orleans office. I am an active CPA in Louisiana and Alabama. I received my Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama.
